How derps works

Sign in with Google or Apple and zkLogin gives you a Sui address that only you can sign for: no seed phrase, no extension. It's derived from your account plus a salt held by our wallet provider, Shinami, and the proof that you own it is made in your browser.

You do. Your funds sit in your own Sui address and your own Aftermath trading account. derps can't move them: every transaction is built by us and signed by you, in your browser or your wallet.

Signed in with Google or Apple, we pay the network fee on your transactions through a sponsor account, so you never need SUI to start. A connected wallet pays its own network fees.

Perpetuals settle on Aftermath in USDC. You pick a side and a leverage. A position can be liquidated if the price moves far enough against it, and the price where you're out is shown before you open it.

Minimum ticket sizes exist because a trade smaller than its round-trip cost can't win. The app tells you the minimum rather than letting you place one.

Token buys route through Aftermath across whichever Sui pools are deepest. You own the coin; nothing can liquidate you.

A coin is only listed if $50 can go in and come back out for under 15%, checked with real quotes in both directions. Launchpad coins trade on their own pool, which we call directly. The meme board shows what our check found on each coin.

Pay for a trade with your trading balance, USDC in your wallet, or any coin you hold worth $1 or more. One transaction swaps it, adds it to your trading account and opens the trade. If any step fails, nothing moves.

One rate for everyone, on every order, taken through Aftermath's integrator mechanism rather than charged separately. The cap is enforced on chain by an approval you sign. The live numbers are on the Fees page, and where they go is on the Rewards page.

The tape shows real fills from the chain. Anyone trading on Aftermath appears as an anonymous account number; derps users appear by their handle if they've claimed one.

A call is a claim you attach to a position you hold, and it stays attached: the tape shows what happened to it afterwards. Your open positions are never published unless you call them.
